Medical cannabis education is a booming industry with a lot of credible and not so credible programs to choose from. We have compiled a list of educational degree and certificate programs from accredited institutions. While these are focused for use in humans the material is easily translatable to animals.

What is a Veterinary Cannabis Counselor (VCC)? This certification program was originally created during more strict prohibition of cannabis education and use in the veterinary space. The program has served its purpose but we feel it is no longer as vital to the industry as it once was given the amount of continuing education and literature now available. Changes in the curriculum and the fact one does not need to be a credentialed veterinary technician or veterinarian have also given us pause. While we do not discourage participation, it is no longer a program we endorse or are involved in.
